ZDF vision is the digital program range produced by ZDF, and includes ZDF infokanal, ZDF_neo and ZDF theaterkanal.
ZDF infokanal provides viewers with interesting features from the service programs broadcast by ZDF and 3sat in the subject areas of culture, science, economics, environment, health and current affairs. In addition, on Saturdays there are also short in-house productions of an informative or entertaining nature. Since the program times are staggered the viewer has the option of watching individual contributions at various times.
ZDFneo offers a colourful mix of factual entertainment, documentaries, international fiction, music and comedy. The ZDF family's youngest channel started in November 2009 and is targetting the age group of 25 to 49.
ZDF theaterkanal can be seen as an electronic stage, providing a space for the presentation of drama, dance, concerts, opera and cabaret. In addition, portraits and documentaries provide an insight into the German theatrical landscape as well as its main players, its literary roots and the cultural and political environment. The fact that the ZDF archives are available means that ZDF theaterkanal can draw upon 40 years of theatre history and major performances.
